Do you hold a NEBOSH Diploma / Level 6 qualification and want to play a key role in maintaining high standards across Health, Safety and Environmental operations?
E3 Recruitment is working with a chemical manufacturer to recruit a Senior HSE Advisor to join their site in Wyke, West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior professional or an ambitious individual ready to take the next step as an Advisor within a complex chemical manufacturing environment.
The Opportunity
As a Senior HSE Advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance to managers and site teams, helping to strengthen Health, Safety and Environmental performance across the operation.
- Support a proactive HSE culture through audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations, while providing practical Health, Safety and Environmental advice.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide HSE advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and operational teams.
- Lead audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
- Support risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Analyse incident trends and recommend Health, Safety and Environmental improvements.
- Support HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA and Management of Change activities.
- Manage contractor requirements, inductions and site audits.
- Deliver Health, Safety and Environmental training and support behavioural safety initiatives.
- Assist with COMAH, environmental permitting and statutory compliance.
- Support emergency preparedness and maintain relationships with relevant authorities.
What We’re Looking For
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification
- Several years’ experience working in a safety role on a COMAH site – essential.
- Experience within chemical manufacturing or another highly regulated process environment.
- Strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, auditing and risk management.
- Experience with process safety studies such as HAZOP, HAZID or LOPA.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

The business is open to an ambitious Senior candidate with the required qualifications and relevant COMAH experience, as well as an established Advisor looking for a stable, long-term position.
This role would suit an experienced Senior Advisor who can confidently influence managers and operational teams while maintaining high HSE standards, or another Senior professional seeking a stable opportunity.
The Advisor role requires the successful candidate to already hold the required Level 6 qualification and be comfortable working on site Monday to Friday.
