Senior HSE Engineer
12 Month Contract
Outside IR35
Talacre, North Wales – 5 days per week on site with occasional Saturday mornings as and when required
As Senior HSE Engineer you will report to the Project HSE manager. You will ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the safety management system throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC Projects) of our Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage).
The ideal candidate will have experience within CDM and also suitable Oil & Gas/ Energy Transition projects such as Refineries, Waste to Energy, power plants.

Responsibilities
- Plan, define and supervise HSE procedures at project and construction level
- Lead Risk Management process (i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management Process, Risk Assessment, etc.)
- Support implementation and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Plan and conduct internal HSE audits
- Coordinate and prepare HSE files and other deliverables following CDM regulations
- As the Senior HSE Engineer, you will lead accident / incident investigation
- Complete supplier HSE evaluations, readiness reviews and review supplier HSE documents to ensure they meet the Project requirements
- As the Senior HSE Engineer, you will cover for HSE Trainer, PTW Officer and HSE Officer
- Records, coordinates and monitors HSE Performance and KPI's

Requirements
What are we looking for?
- Education: Qualification in HSE or engineering related field, Nebosh diploma
- Experience: 3-7 years in the Oil & Gas industry and onshore projects with activities in construction design regulation management and survey/investigation
- Certification: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
