About Us

Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.

We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants consisting of a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, vertically integrating with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid. Here’s our manifesto on how we plan to do it. We’ve recently deployed the UK’s largest synthetic fuel plant and are planning to 1000x this scale in the next 2 years.

We’re looking for a Senior HSE Manager as we prepare to move into a 50,000 sq ft manufacturing and R&D facility in London and simultaneously deploy our hardware at project sites. This is someone who understands that safety and operational progress are not mutually exclusive. You’ll ensure our rate of innovation continues, whilst implementing gold standard safety measures to protect our team.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Management System

  • Build and maintain a proportionate, risk-based safety management system suited to the combined R&D and manufacturing environment, owning all factory safety documentation - risk assessments, safe systems of work, safety SOPs, and regulatory assessments (COSHH, DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, LEV).
  • Identify, track and ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, and own the safety budget - prioritising spend effectively and presenting requirements in business terms.
  • Develop and deliver a safety improvement roadmap with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
