Senior SHEQ Advisor
Location: Leeds (with regional travel)
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Company Car/Allowance + Benefits
We're supporting a major infrastructure business that is looking to appoint a Senior SHEQ Advisor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, partnering with operational teams to drive high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out on site, building relationships with stakeholders and helping create a proactive safety culture. You'll provide practical guidance, challenge where appropriate and support continuous improvement across multiple locations.

The Key Responsibilities of the Senior SHEQ Advisor:
- Provide SHEQ support across a range of operational sites and projects.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Review risk assessments and method statements.
- Coach and influence operational teams to promote best practice.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and continual improvement of SHEQ management systems.

The Senior SHEQ Advisor will have:
- NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum (Ideally Diploma or working towards).
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities, or another high-risk industry.
- A sound understanding of UK health and safety legislation.
- Experience carrying out audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently while supporting multiple sites.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
