Role title: Senior Hub Officer
Location: Pollards Hill, Mitcham
Salary: £26,335 to £32,918 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience) plus ECUA of £1929
Hours: 28 hours per week
Contract: 12 month fixed-term contract

Through our Community Investment Fund (CIF), we invest in projects that make a real difference to residents' lives. This role is based within the Wellbeing Studio in Pollards Hill, funded by the Pollards Hill Community Committee (PHCC), which provides a range of health and wellbeing support to customers and residents across the local community.
We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Senior Hub Officer who is passionate about community investment and understands the positive impact that health, wellbeing and community connection can have on people's lives. In this rewarding and varied role, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of the Wellbeing Studio, developing opportunities that bring people together, improve wellbeing and respond to local community needs. Working closely with residents, volunteers, partners and stakeholders, you'll help create a welcoming and inclusive environment where people can access support, build confidence and develop stronger community links.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the day-to-day delivery and operation of the Wellbeing Studio.
- Developing and coordinating activities, projects and events that promote health and wellbeing.
- Building strong relationships with residents, community organisations and local partners.
- Coordinating volunteers, project officers and partner organisations delivering services within the Studio.
- Identifying community needs and helping shape services that create positive outcomes.
- Supporting the effective delivery of community investment initiatives and funding programmes.
- Monitoring outcomes and demonstrating the impact of projects and activities.
- Ensuring the Studio remains a welcoming, safe and inclusive space for everyone.

What we're looking for
- Experience of delivering community development, engagement or investment activities.
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for individuals and communities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience coordinating projects, activities or services involving multiple stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities.
- Experience working with volunteers and community partners.
- A flexible, collaborative approach and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications and knowledge
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- A qualification in community development, housing, health and wellbeing, youth work or a related discipline is desirable.
- Knowledge of community engagement and partnership-working approaches.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
