Senior HR Advisor – Fixed Term Contract

Macmillan Davies is delighted to be supporting a luxury brand in the appointment of a Senior HR Advisor on a fixed-term basis, providing maternity leave cover within their HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a dynamic organisation and make an immediate impact. Working closely with the CPO and wider HR team, you will support the delivery of the people strategy while ensuring day-to-day HR operations and business partnering activity run smoothly.

The Role

  • Acting as a trusted HR contact for line managers and leaders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and providing constructive challenge where appropriate.
  • Supporting performance management, talent reviews, and wider people processes.
  • Coaching managers on performance, conduct, and absence matters.
  • Managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring appropriate risk management and fair, consistent outcomes.
  • Delivering training where required, including performance management and line manager training.
  • Working with the HR Operations Lead to ensure effective HR processes, policies, and compliance.
  • Supporting global mobility and visa processes where required.
  • Assisting with people reporting and providing insight to the CPO and Board.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
