I’m currently working with a leading and highly regarded law firm who are looking to appoint a Senior HR Advisor on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor who is looking to join a collaborative, well-established HR function and take on a genuinely varied generalist role.

Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you’ll provide proactive HR support to the firm's Business Teams across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical advice across a broad range of HR matters while also getting involved in wider HR projects and initiatives.

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
  • Supporting the HRBP across the full employee lifecycle
  • Advising on employee relations, performance management and absence matters
  • Supporting flexible working, parental leave and other employee lifecycle processes
  • Working closely with managers to ensure HR policies and processes are effectively implemented
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and probation processes
  • Assisting with salary review, bonus, appraisal and promotion processes
  • Producing HR reports and management information
  • Contributing to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider People team

We’re looking for someone with solid generalist HR experience who is confident providing advice to managers and employees across a broad range of HR matters.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor role
  • Strong employee relations and generalist HR experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The confidence to work independently and manage a varied workload
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience within a professional services or law firm environment would be highly advantageous
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
