We are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to join a collaborative and people-focused organisation with a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and employee engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and managers, providing trusted HR support across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to a variety of strategic people initiatives.

Working as part of a well-established HR function, you will act as the primary HR contact for the Belfast office, partnering with stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercial, and employee-focused HR solutions.

About the Role

As Senior HR Advisor, you will provide hands-on HR support across a broad range of people matters, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, employee wellbeing, and organisational development.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, managers, talent acquisition, learning and development, payroll, and HR operations teams to ensure an exceptional employee experience from onboarding through to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to partners, managers, and employees on a wide range of people-related matters.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes.
  • Support managers with performance management, capability concerns, and complex employee issues.
  • Manage parental leave processes and provide ongoing support to employees throughout their leave journey.
  • Coordinate flexible and hybrid working arrangements, including formal requests and policy guidance.
  • Oversee probation reviews and support managers with performance concerns where required.
  • Partner with the recruitment team to support hiring activity, including stakeholder engagement and role scoping.
  • Work closely with HR Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Conduct new starter check-ins to support successful integration and employee engagement.
  • Lead exit interviews and analyse trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives across the business.
  • Manage sickness absence processes, including return-to-work meetings and occupational health referrals.
  • Provide guidance on employee wellbeing, workplace adjustments, and disability-related support.
  • Ensure payroll-related changes are communicated accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Produce management information, reports, and HR analytics as required.
  • Contribute to annual appraisal, salary review, bonus, and promotion processes.
  • Maintain regular communication with wider HR teams regarding ongoing activity and key people matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
