Help businesses grow stronger through their people.

At Nuvo HR, we believe great businesses are built by great people. As part of the wider Nuvo Group, we're on a mission to help organisations grow with confidence through practical, people-first advice that combines commercial insight with genuine care for people. Our focus is on helping clients get the right people, build the right culture, and create workplaces where individuals and businesses thrive together.

We're looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor who shares our passion for delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping organisations navigate both opportunities and challenges with confidence.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding consultancy role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted HR partner and providing proactive, commercially focused advice across the full employee lifecycle.

From strategic people planning and organisational development to employee relations and compliance, you'll help clients make better people decisions while building positive, high-performing workplace cultures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead HR contact for a portfolio of SME clients.
  • Support clients with HR strategy, workforce planning and organisational development initiatives.
  • Deliver HR audits and ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Coach and support business owners and managers in handling people matters effectively.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance management and redundancies.
  • Draft and review contracts, policies, procedures and employee handbooks.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies.
  • Contribute to business development activities and identify opportunities to add value for clients.
  • Support the continued growth and evolution of Nuvo HR within the wider Nuvo Group.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
