Senior HR Advisor

Exeter, Devon | Hybrid
£38,000–£40,000 depending on experience
Permanent | Full-time, Monday to Friday

Curated Partners are supporting an established and growing business in Exeter to find a Senior HR Advisor to join their HR team.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on employee relations. You’ll work closely with managers, helping them navigate people issues and giving clear, practical advice.

It would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their caseload, building relationships and supporting managers to become more confident in handling HR matters. You’ll also provide guidance to a junior colleague and contribute to wider improvements across the HR function.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
  • Advising and coaching managers on employment law, HR policies and people management.
  • Supporting organisational change and restructuring.
  • Providing guidance and support to a junior member of the HR team.
  • Building relationships with managers across the business, supporting multiple sites when required.
  • Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes and procedures.
  • Contributing to HR projects, reporting, systems and wider people initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
