Senior HR Business Partner

West Midlands | Initial 6-month FTC | Start ASAP
Paying between £60k - £70k

LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a leading organisation in the West Midlands with the appointment of a Senior HR Business Partner for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a high-impact, commercially focused role supporting a significant transformation programme as an existing part of the Group transitions into a more standalone subsidiary model.

Working closely with senior leaders, you will take the lead on the people agenda, with particular focus on workforce planning, performance, organisational change and project delivery. You will help ensure the business has the right people, capability, structure and performance framework in place to support the next phase of its development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders on the people implications of the wider transformation programme.
  • Lead workforce planning activity, including headcount, capability, succession and future resource requirements.
  • Support the development of a high-performance, KPI-driven culture.
  • Use people data and commercial insight to drive effective decision-making.
  • Lead and support key HR and transformation projects.
  • Translate wider organisational change into clear, practical people plans.
  • Support leaders with performance, capability and workforce effectiveness.
  • Identify people risks, resource gaps and opportunities to improve productivity.
  • Work closely with OD, Transformation and wider HR colleagues to align the people plan with the future operating model.
  • Provide commercially focused advice and challenge to senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
