Senior HR Business Partner (15 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: London - 5 days per week in office

Salary: c. £120,000 plus bonus and package

Middlemore is partnering on a confidential search for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join a highly successful international financial services organisation on a 15 month fixed-term contract.

This is a senior, commercially focused partnering role supporting members of the Executive and senior leadership population across a complex, fast-paced global business. You’ll act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders while helping shape and deliver the people agenda through a period of continued change and transformation.

Working closely with the Group Head of People and wider HR leadership team, you will:

  • Build trusted, credible relationships with senior business leaders and provide high-quality strategic HR advice.
  • Lead the delivery of key people processes including compensation, talent and performance reviews.
  • Support regional and global HR initiatives, translating broader people strategy into effective business outcomes.
  • Use people data, metrics and analytics to influence decision-making and identify emerging organisational priorities.
  • Drive talent and succession activity, identifying opportunities to strengthen capability and move key talent across the organisation.
  • Partner closely with specialist teams across Reward, Talent and Organisational Development.
  • Play a key role in headcount, workforce and budget planning.
  • Support benchmarking and compensation activity using internal and external market data.
  • Advise senior leaders on complex employee relations matters.
  • Support organisational development, culture change and employee engagement through periods of significant transition and transformation.

We are looking for an established HR Business Partner who combines strategic thinking with the ability and willingness to remain close to delivery.

You are likely to bring:

  • Significant experience working as a commercially focused HR Manager, HR Business Partner or People Partner within a multinational Financial Services organisation.
  • A broad generalist toolkit with particular strength across talent, reward, organisational development, workforce planning and complex ER.
  • The ability to navigate a changing, matrixed organisation and connect broader business challenges with the people agenda.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge, influence, coach and advise senior leaders.
  • CIPD qualification and/or a relevant university degree.
