HR Business Partner

Location: London (City)
Working Model: Hybrid Working (2-3 Days in Office)

Salary: £80,000 – 100,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Frazer Jones are partnering with a global financial services firm to hire an experienced HR Business Partner into their growing People team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional looking to work closely with senior stakeholders and support a dynamic, international workforce.

Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you'll provide both strategic and advisory HR support across the full employee lifecycle while helping to drive people initiatives that align with business objectives.

The Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders across the business, providing expert guidance on a broad range of people matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to provide proactive HR advice and support
  • Managing international employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary, grievance and absence cases
  • Coaching managers on people management best practice and employment legislation
  • Supporting talent management, succession planning and performance review processes
  • Advising on organisational change, restructures and workforce planning initiatives
  • Partnering with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment activity and hiring strategies
  • Supporting reward, compensation and promotion processes
  • Using HR data and people insights to identify trends and support business decision-making
  • Driving employee engagement initiatives and helping to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and processes
  • Contributing to regional and global HR projects
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal governance requirements

  • Insurance sector experience would be highly beneficial, particularly supporting client-facing or regulated populations
  • Exposure to M&A activity, including business integration and organisational change, would be beneficial.
  • Proven experience in an international HR Business Partner role
  • Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage complex cases independently
  • Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, corporate environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and provide meaningful insights
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable
