Senior HR Business Partner
Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)
Circa £60,000 per annum
Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (18 months)
Job Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join a forward-thinking and people-focused organisation. This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially aware HR professional to provide strategic and operational HR support across key business areas, while leading on complex employee relations matters and supporting organisational change.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will act as a trusted advisor, delivering people solutions that align with business objectives. You will also have responsibility for managing and supporting a team of HR Business Partners during an interim period, ensuring a high-quality HR service is delivered across the organisation.
The role involves:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver people strategies that support organisational goals.
- Leading on complex employee relations cases, providing expert advice, guidance, and risk management.
- Managing and supporting HR Business Partners, providing leadership, coaching, and development.
- Driving organisational change initiatives, restructures, and transformation projects.
- Supporting workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning activities.
- Using people data and insights to inform decision-making and improve organisational performance.
- Ensuring HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation are applied consistently and effectively.
- Building strong relationships with managers and leaders to influence and deliver positive people outcomes.
- Supporting the development of an engaged, high-performing, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Contributing to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll need:
- Significant experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Business Partner role.
- Proven experience managing and developing HR Business Partners or HR teams.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, with experience handling complex and sensitive casework.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decision-making.
- A strong understanding of organisational change, transformation, and workforce planning.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance people priorities and business objectives.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification as a minimum, with CIPD Level 7 highly desirable.
- Current CIPD membership.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.
- A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach.
