We’re looking for an experienced Senior People Partner to join a highly regarded, people focused organisation, in the heart of Bristol, at an exciting point in its development. This is a hybrid role.

This is a genuinely broad and influential role, partnering with senior leaders across the organisation to help shape people plans, navigate change and build high performing, inclusive teams.

You’ll operate as a trusted adviser rather than simply responding to HR issues. That means understanding what the business is trying to achieve, identifying the people implications and helping leaders make commercially sound, pragmatic and well-informed decisions.

The Role

As Senior People Partner, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across a number of business areas, combining strategic partnering with hands-on involvement in more complex people matters.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand their priorities and translate them into practical, commercially focused people plans.
  • Lead and support strategic people projects and wider organisational initiatives.
  • Advise on complex and sensitive employee relations matters, balancing commercial considerations, employment law and the employee experience.
  • Play a key role in organisational change, including team design, consultation and implementation.
  • Coach and challenge leaders, helping them become more confident and effective people managers.
  • Use people data, trends and insight to identify emerging issues, risks and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with specialist HR colleagues across areas such as Talent Acquisition, Reward, Learning & Development and Inclusion.
  • Help develop and continuously improve people policies, frameworks and ways of working.
  • Champion an inclusive, supportive and high-performing culture where people are able to contribute, develop and thrive.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why consider this opportunity?

This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the business and wants more than a traditional HR advisory position.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence senior leaders, shape people decisions, lead meaningful change and contribute to wider strategic people initiatives.

There is plenty of complexity to get your teeth into, but you’ll also be joining an established People function where collaboration, good judgement and quality of advice really matter.

If you're an experienced Senior HR Business Partner or People Partner looking for a broad, visible role where you can make a genuine impact, we'd be keen to hear from you.
