Role Description

The Senior Human Resources Consultant will serve as one of the two HR consultants to help us grow, designing and implementing HR frameworks that support high-growth environments. In this full-time hybrid role based in the London Area, with some flexibility to work from home, the consultant will lead projects across HR strategy, organisation design, and HR operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating HR policies, advising on complex employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment regulations in multiple jurisdictions. The consultant will also support performance management processes, design onboarding and learning initiatives, and guide talent development programs tailored to startup and scale-up needs. This role involves collaborating with clients, preparing clear documentation and recommendations, and continuously improving HR practices to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Human Resources, with experience in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and updating HR Policies and HR procedures across the employee lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing Employee Relations, including handling complex cases and supporting inclusive and respectful workplaces.
  • Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law, ideally across UK and international contexts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use HR data and insights to inform decisions.
  • Relevant academic background in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field; professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPD or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid setup, managing time effectively across client sites and remote work.
