Are you a Senior Hydrogeologist looking for greater technical responsibility and the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of UK water environment projects? This is an opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy with strong opportunities for continued career development.

The Senior Hydrogeologist will work across hydrogeological assessment and water environment projects within the renewables, infrastructure, power, industrial, and built environment sectors.

The Senior Hydrogeologist Role Will Include

  • Leading hydrogeological assessments, investigations, and monitoring programmes
  • Preparing and reviewing EIA water chapters
  • Water environment assessments and abstraction licensing
  • Hydrogeological risk assessment and groundwater permitting
  • Technical analysis, interpretation, and reporting
  • Client management, proposals, and multidisciplinary project delivery
  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced team members

The Senior Hydrogeologist Should Have

  • Substantial UK hydrogeology or water environment experience
  • A degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline
  • Experience of hydrogeological studies, water monitoring, and risk assessments
  • Knowledge of UK water legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Strong technical reporting and communication skills
  • Chartered status or be working towards chartership
  • A driving licence permitting you to drive in the UK

GIS, analysis, or modelling software experience would be advantageous rather than essential.
