Senior Backend Developer (IAM) - London (Hybrid, 3 days a week) - x3 openings

Up to £110K

We're hiring for a European AI cloud infrastructure company building next-generation, on-demand GPU compute - vertically integrated, running on 100% renewable energy, and growing fast. They've recently closed a funding round north of $150M and are sitting on a revenue run rate approaching nine figures, having grown roughly tenfold over the past couple of years.

They're live across dozens of markets globally, hold certified partner status with a leading GPU manufacturer, and maintain strong compliance credentials (SOC 2 and similar) - because when you're handling access to high-value compute at scale, identity and access management isn't an afterthought, it's core infrastructure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We're looking for three Senior Backend Developers to help shape how the IAM platform evolves across a diverse product portfolio (GPU instances, clusters, serverless compute, storage), rather than treating identity as a bolt-on to a single product line.

What you'll work on:

  • OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT, RBAC and ReBAC, MFA, TOTP, passkeys and FIDO2
  • Workload and machine identity/service accounts

It's a genuinely unsolved space at this scale, so there's more design latitude here than most IAM roles can offer. Beyond pure IAM, you'll contribute to large-scale resource planning systems and internal tooling spanning multiple services, building APIs for fast, robust resource provisioning alongside our SRE and data centre teams.
