Would you like to be part of leading an innovative, dynamic NHS Talking Therapies service?

We are looking for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our long-established NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression team in North Tyneside. You will be part of the overall Senior Team and provide clinical leadership within the low intensity element of the service. North Tyneside Talking Therapies is recognised for its high quality therapeutic delivery and our patients experience significant improvements which is demonstrated in our performance outcomes. We pride ourselves on adopting a compassionate culture and have a collective leadership approach. Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership to Low Intensity Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP's), LI Supervisors and Trainee PWP's.
  • Be involved in the quality improvement and development of low intensity therapy delivery within the NHS Talking Therapies element of the service.
  • Improve clinical delivery, supervision, and Continuing Professional Development Programme based on a sound evidence base as well as innovative ideas.
  • Maintain your own low intensity practice providing assessment and treatment for people presenting with common mental health problems, within the NHS Talking Therapies framework.
