We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior IFA Administrator to join our growing independent financial advice firm.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will support the smooth running of the firm's day-to-day administration and client servicing. You will work closely with advisers, paraplanners, clients, and providers, taking ownership of cases and ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to financial advisers and the Head of Operations.
- Manage and progress client cases from instruction through to completion.
- Process new business, including investments, pensions, and ISAs.
- Liaise with clients, advisers, providers, and platforms by telephone and email.
- Coordinate annual reviews and ongoing client servicing.
- Monitor outstanding requirements and proactively chase clients and providers.
- Maintain accurate client records and CRM systems.
- Prepare client correspondence and meeting documentation.
- Support the Head of Operations with internal processes and operational projects.
- Ensure all administration is completed accurately and in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within an IFA, wealth management, or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFA administration and the client journey.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Confidence dealing with clients, advisers, and external providers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- A professional, reliable, and client-focused approach.

What We Offer
An excellent opportunity to join a growing independent financial advice firm, working closely with the Head of Operations and gaining broad exposure to financial planning, client servicing, and business operations.
- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + bonus, dependent on experience
- Location: Office-based, Hitchin
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
