Senior Implementation Consultant

Fintech / SaaS | London/Hybrid £70-£85k

Our client is a small, growing fintech whose software brings behavioural science and quantitative methodology into the advice process for wealth managers and financial institutions. They need a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead delivery of their solutions to enterprise clients, from agreed scope through to launch and handover.

This is a role for someone who is as comfortable running a client meeting as they are reading API documentation. You will be the person who keeps clients, product, technology and specialist teams aligned so that what was promised gets delivered.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning delivery across multiple client projects, including plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and scope changes
  • Leading implementation meetings, managing expectations, and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Working directly with technology teams on API services, integrations, data flows, environments, and releases
  • Coordinating acceptance criteria, configuration checks, UAT, training, go-live readiness, and handover
  • Building real knowledge of the product and its methodology so you can answer most client questions yourself, and knowing when to bring in a specialist
  • Feeding into proposals with realistic effort and assumptions, and turning recurring questions into reusable playbooks

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll bring

  • A track record of managing several client-facing technology, SaaS, fintech, or professional-services implementations at once
  • Clear, confident communication, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply and challenge constructively
  • Technical fluency in APIs, integrations, data flows, environments, releases, and testing
  • Willingness to get hands-on by inspecting payloads, testing integrations, running basic data queries, and using AI-assisted or low-code tools to investigate problems
  • Curiosity and the capacity to learn unfamiliar subject matter quickly
  • Ownership and judgement: you spot gaps, follow through, and connect information across teams
  • Experience in wealth management, financial services, or behavioural science is useful but not essential. You don't need to be a software engineer, and formal PRINCE2 or PMP qualifications matter less here than rigour and good judgement.

Why this role

In a small company, the role will grow with you. Over time you will become the solution expert who understands the clients, the product, and enough of the technology to connect them. The team is increasingly AI-enabled in how it works, so it will suit someone who picks up new tools quickly and uses them intelligently.
