Senior Import Merchandiser/ Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of Manchester-based menswear accounts across multiple brands. The in-house brands are at a great stage of growth, so this is an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager / Buyer / Import Merchandiser to get stuck in and push the brands further.

Duties:

  • Liaising with customer accounts for MTO / SMU lines
  • Planning timelines and key dates for in-house brand development.
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Run customer meetings and collaborate with the wider team – Design and Technologists to develop commercially relevant product.
  • Monitor and chase weekly critical paths, sample development trackers, and price enquiries to ensure deadlines are met, with support from the Assistant Account Manager.
  • Raising Purchase Orders with factories with support from the Assistant Account Manager.
  • Running daily/weekly product review meetings.
  • Create and maintain seasonal Excel trackers and reports with support from the Assistant Account Manager.
  • Produce sales and performance reports from Shopify.
  • Manage sales performance reviews with support from the Assistant Account Manager.
  • Support the Assistant Account Manager with day-to-day account administration as required.
  • Ensure all customer information and product data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in a Merchandiser, Import Merchandiser, Account Manager, Product Developer, Production Manager, or similar role within the fashion industry.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a genuine passion for fashion and product.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly analytical with strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Far East production teams.
  • Previous streetwear experience beneficial.
  • Experience with worldwide customers is beneficial.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel and fast adopter of customer 3rd party portals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Positive, proactive team player with a desire to learn and develop.
