Senior Procurement Data & Insights Analyst
We're looking for a Senior Procurement Data & Insights Analyst to play a key role in shaping procurement strategy through advanced analytics, automation, and market intelligence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, technology, and commercial decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing
As a trusted expert within the procurement function, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering powerful analytics solutions that provide visibility, insight, and strategic direction across the business.
- Design and build sophisticated data models, reporting solutions, and automated data pipelines.
- Transform data from multiple sources including ERP systems, market intelligence providers, and external datasets into actionable business insights.
- Develop impactful Power BI dashboards and visualisations used by Procurement, Finance, Business Leaders, and Executive stakeholders.
- Create risk, forecasting, and market analytics models that support commercial decision-making and supply chain resilience.
- Drive automation initiatives using Power Automate and AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and eliminate manual reporting.
- Analyse market trends, supplier performance, commodity data, and procurement metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, IT and senior business leaders to deliver insights that influence strategic decisions.
- Support and mentor colleagues, helping to raise analytical capability across the wider team.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly analytical individual who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and engaging way.
- Strong experience building data models and ETL processes across multiple data sources.
- Advanced Power BI skills with expert knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
- Excellent SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Advanced Excel capabilities, including Power Pivot and analytical modelling.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports and analytics that support business decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and present recommendations to senior leaders.
- A passion for automation, innovation and leveraging AI technologies to improve processes and insight generation.
You'll Stand Out If You Have
- Experience with Python, Databricks or modern data platforms.
- Knowledge of SAP, SAP Analytics, SAP BW or SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to procurement, supply chain or market intelligence analytics.
- Experience monitoring commodity markets, pricing trends or supplier performance.
- Professional qualifications in data analytics, procurement (CIPS), Lean Six Sigma or related disciplines.
