Our Strategic Ambition

Our strategic ambition is for every child in family law proceedings to have an exceptional experience, everywhere in the country and every time.

Whilst proud that Ofsted judged us to be ‘outstanding’ at our last inspection, there is always more to do to serve the best interests of children in public and private law proceedings across England and this outcome energised us to keep getting better at what we do for children and families and the feedback from them tells us we are doing just that.

About the Role

We are pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Improvement Manager within our National Improvement Service (NIS), which collectively plays a key role in helping to continually improve the quality and impact of practice to children and families.

You will join a well-established NIS leadership team working closely with the existing Heads of Practice and Deputy Director for Performance and Quality Assurance, helping lead an innovative and crucial service that makes a difference for children through learning and development, quality assurance and auditing, commissioned support, multi-agency reviews and consultations.

This Will Include Accountability For

  • Leading and overseeing key aspects of quality assurance and improvement across the organisation.
  • Providing constructive feedback to teams and individuals to drive performance and professional development.
  • Being part of a senior management team - responsible for management of a team of Improvement Managers.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
