Unique Tax Opportunity: Full-Spectrum Role

Most Tax adverts tell you what the business wants.

Almost none tell you what you get.

So here is one written the other way round.

You Get the Whole of Tax

  • Corporate tax and reporting into a US-listed parent.
  • VAT and customs on stock that crosses borders every day.
  • Transfer pricing and the international structure behind a group operating in a good number of countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

Hands-On Experience

  • Projects, not just a compliance calendar.
  • Tax reporting, governance frameworks, process, and controls: these are areas the business is actively working on, which means there is something to build rather than just a cycle to keep turning.

Direct Impact

  • You get heard. No layer of tax directors between you and the decision.
  • You work with the UK Finance Director and directly with group tax overseas, which is a short route from your judgement to the people acting on it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Career Advancement

  • Ready for the job after this one. Multi-jurisdictional compliance, transfer pricing, group reporting under a foreign parent, ownership of governance. That combination is what Head of Tax and Tax Director roles ask for, and most tax professionals collect it one piece at a time over a decade.
  • Do this role well and you will have all four, and you will be a credible candidate for that level.

Location and Salary

  • Based in West Yorkshire, hybrid, c80 to 90k.
  • The exact hybrid pattern is something I am still confirming, so if you are outside the region and the right flexibility would make it work, tell me and I will put the question.

Ownership and Discretion

  • This is a senior seat with real ownership, which means you own the detail as well as the thinking.
  • Compliance and advisory, with external advisers and group tax alongside you.
  • If you want to specialise narrowly and hand the rest to someone else, it is the wrong role.

Recruitment Process

  • Discreetly, and quickly. There is no application portal and no long funnel.
  • A small number of conversations, then straight to the decision-makers, closer to how a board or executive appointment is handled than a standard vacancy.

Call to Action

If you are in tax within a multinational group, or in practice and ready to go in-house, get in touch and I will send you the pack.
