About the Role
Euronext is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Index Salesperson to accelerate the growth of its Index Solutions business across Europe.
This is a senior individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives on building and deepening relationships with a broad range of clients, including institutional asset managers, asset owners, ETF issuers, investment banks, insurance companies, private banks, wealth managers, Hedge Funds and structured products providers. You will leverage your established network and market expertise to originate new opportunities, win index mandates and drive the adoption of Euronext indices across ETFs, structured products, investment funds, mandates and other index-linked investment solutions.
We are looking for a self-starter with a proven track record in index sales, benchmark licensing, ETF-related solutions, structured products, index related data products and a strong presence within the institutional investment community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact as a senior individual contributor, focusing on client engagement and business development in a dynamic and innovative environment. The role reports directly into the Head of Index Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to develop and execute successful commercial strategies targeting a broad range of institutional clients across Europe.
- Demonstrated track record of originating and closing new benchmark licensing opportunities with institutional asset managers, asset owners, ETF issuers, banks, insurance companies, private banks, wealth managers and structured products providers.
- In-depth understanding of the index ecosystem and experience driving the adoption of indices across ETFs, structured products, funds, certificates, discretionary mandates and model portfolio solutions.
- Results-driven approach with a history of delivering annual revenue targets through both new business generation and the expansion of existing client relationships.
- Excellent pipeline management skills, with the ability to build, prioritise and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasting.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, supported by an established network within the institutional investment community.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently as a senior individual contributor in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Strong knowledge of the institutional RFP market with successful track record in managing RFP processes front to end coordinating with Index Structuring and other internal stakeholders.

Strategic Client Management
- Develop senior executive relationships with leading institutional investors and financial institutions.
- Create and execute strategic account plans for key clients, identifying opportunities across index solutions and the broader Euronext ecosystem.
- Engage with CIOs, portfolio managers, product heads, structuring teams, ETF specialists, and investment strategists to identify new mandate opportunities.
- Position Euronext as a long-term strategic partner for index innovation and investment solutions.
Market Development & Product Innovation
- Partner with Index Design, Research, Product Management, and Engineering teams to develop innovative benchmark solutions tailored to client needs.
- Identify emerging trends and commercial opportunities across ETFs, structured products, thematic investing, quantitative strategies, ESG, active ETFs, and custom benchmarks.
- Represent Euronext at industry conferences, client events, and market forums.
- Contribute to the continued growth and strategic positioning of Euronext Index Solutions across Europe.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- A minimum of eight years’ experience in index sales, benchmark licensing, ETF sales, investment solutions, structured products, market data or other relevant institutional financial services roles
- A clear and proven track record of generating revenue and securing mandates within the institutional investment community.
- An established and demonstrable network of senior relationships with institutional clients, such as asset managers, asset owners, ETF issuers, banks, insurance companies, private banks, wealth managers and structured products providers, across Europe.
- Proven experience engaging directly with senior decision makers and successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes from origination to close.

- Strong understanding of:
- Index licensing and benchmark solutions
- ETF product development and benchmark selection
- Institutional asset management
- Structured products manufacturing and distribution
- Wealth management and private banking channels
- Insurance investment products
- Custom, thematic, factor, and ESG indices
- Asset-linked revenue models
Skills
- Exceptional business development and relationship management capabilities.
- Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of revenue generation.
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing business.
- Fluency in English is a must, other European language (French / German) preferred
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- CFA, CAIA, or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
