Senior Indirect Tax Manager
JSS are hiring for a Senior Indirect Tax Manager for a leading international pharmaceutical company based in London (supporting 2 or 3 days per week remote working).
This is a permanent full-time role paying circa £85k-£110k plus bonus/benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Ownership: The Senior Tax Manager will take ownership of the company's VAT and Indirect tax (e.g., customs duties) for the business across EMEA.
- Advisory Role: This is an advisory role first and foremost, with the focus on optimising and restructuring the organisation's international supply chain to maximise both tax and commercial objectives.
- Compliance: On top, this person will take ownership of indirect tax compliance, and will get involved in direct tax work including corporate tax, transfer pricing, employment tax - Again the focus being on the more commercial side with things such as ETR management and general tax strategy.

Requirements
- Experience: The company are looking for an indirect tax professional (not just VAT) with international experience - with experience gained either from a large accounting firm or from a similar in-house role.
- Sector Experience: It's highly beneficial for this person to have experience in the pharmaceutical sector or with international supply chains.
- Direct Tax: Experience in direct tax would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
