About the Role
This role will sit within the Analytics arm of the Trusts Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Project. The post holder will be responsible for the testing and reconciliation of a wide range of data.
The role will also be responsible for the creation of reports within Power BI, SSRS, Excel, and other software to ensure the Trust can report key performance indicators prior to and on Go Live. The data being used will be across ED, Inpatients, Outpatients, Theatres, RTT, and many others, providing an opportunity to be involved in all facets of data reporting at the Trust.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for testing and reconciliation of a wide range of data.
- Creation of reports within Power BI, SSRS, Excel, and other software.
- Ensuring the Trust can report key performance indicators prior to and on Go Live.
- Providing robust testing and validation techniques to ensure data quality.
- Liaising with many stakeholders across the Trust and externally.
- Explaining complex datasets and thinking laterally when it comes to problem-solving.
- Working with others to find the best solution.
- Conducting detailed testing and reconciliation of large and complex datasets.
- Providing assurance to the EPR Project on the accuracy of all reports produced.
- Creating new reports using different software packages such as Power BI.

Requirements
- Keen eye for detail and a high level of resilience.
- Ability to explain complex datasets.
- Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Specific NHS experience is key for this role.
- Expert knowledge of matters relating to a specific area such as Income generation with National Tariff, Elective Pathway management, Emergency Pathway Management, delivery of projects relating to new ways of working and change, and interrogation and analysis of service-specific systems.
- Ability to advise staff within the Information Department, EPR Project, and others within the Trust on areas of change and potential issues using high-level statistical analysis.
