Senior Information Security Analyst – DLP

£50,000–£60,000 + 10% bonus | Northamptonshire | Occasional Visit to Office

An opportunity for an experienced Information Security professional to join a large global business in a senior, hands-on security role.

The key requirement is strong, practical Data Loss Prevention (DLP) experience.

You'll need to have actually worked with DLP policies and controls – configuring and improving them, investigating issues, identifying gaps and producing the reports and matrices needed to understand how effectively those controls are working.

Simply having worked in an environment where DLP is used won't be enough.

The Role

You'll work across a broad range of information security, taking ownership of security issues and helping improve the controls, processes and reporting already in place.

Day to day, this will include:

  • Taking a lead role in investigating security incidents across endpoint, cloud, identity, network and email environments.
  • Owning and improving DLP policies and controls, including reviewing their effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Producing DLP reports, matrices and security metrics that provide a clear picture of controls, risks and gaps.
  • Working with SIEM and EDR technologies to investigate threats and improve detection.
  • Reviewing vulnerabilities, prioritising risks and working with technical teams to make sure they're addressed.
  • Supporting identity security across areas such as MFA, Conditional Access and privileged access.
  • Reviewing new systems and technology changes from a security perspective.
  • Improving security processes, playbooks and controls rather than simply maintaining what's already there.
  • Working with both technical and non-technical teams to explain security risks and agree practical solutions.
  • Sharing knowledge and supporting less experienced members of the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Alongside that, you'll have a solid background in information or cyber security and experience across some of the following:

  • Security Operations / incident response
  • SIEM and EDR
  • Identity and Access Management
  • MFA and Conditional Access
  • Vulnerability management
  • Security controls and technical assurance
  • Security reporting and metrics
  • NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or similar security frameworks

The background is fairly open. You might currently be an Information Security Analyst, Senior Security Analyst, Security Engineer or DLP specialist.

CISSP, CISM or CISA would be useful, but they're certainly not essential. What you've actually done is much more important than the certifications or your current job title.

Package

£50,000–£60,000 depending on experience, plus 10% bonus, hybrid working, share gift scheme and a generous pension.

If you've got strong hands-on DLP experience and you're within reach of Northamptonshire, please get in touch.
