Senior Information Security Analyst
📍 Kent – Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite
💰 Up to £72,800
🕒 Permanent | 35 hours per week
Are you a hands-on Security professional looking for a role that gives you exposure beyond traditional Security Operations?
We’re looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join an established organisation going through an exciting period of security maturity and development.
Sitting within a collaborative security team, you'll work across Security Operations, Microsoft Cloud Security, risk, assurance and governance – giving you the opportunity to remain technically hands-on while influencing the wider security environment.
What you'll be doing
- Working hands-on across the Microsoft Security stack, including Sentinel and Defender
- Investigating and responding to security incidents and events
- Supporting vulnerability management, triage and remediation
- Assessing and improving the effectiveness of security controls
- Supporting the security of Azure, M365 and managed/cloud services
- Conducting security risk assessments and recommending appropriate controls
- Providing security input into technology and change projects
- Supporting the organisation's ISMS, policies and security standards
- Contributing to regulatory and compliance requirements including PCI-DSS, GDPR and FCA/PRA
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the security team

What we're looking for
You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience within Information or Cyber Security
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Security suite
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and Defender
- Understanding of securing Microsoft cloud environments
- Experience across Security Operations, incident investigation and vulnerability management
- Good understanding of security risk assessments, controls and methodologies
- The ability to communicate technical security risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
