Senior Information Security Analyst - Liverpool - Onsite - £55-£60k
We're looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our growing Information Security team and help protect our systems, data and services from evolving cyber threats.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong security operations, governance, risk or compliance background who wants to play a key role in improving security controls, supporting audits, managing security risks and helping embed security across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Assisting with the implementation of security policies, standards and procedures
- Conducting security risk assessments and supporting remediation activities
- Monitoring vulnerabilities and tracking corrective actions
- Supporting incident response investigations and security reviews
- Assisting with ISO 27001 audits and compliance activities
- Reviewing supplier and third-party security assessments
- Working with technology teams to ensure security is considered throughout projects and change initiatives
- Delivering security awareness activities and promoting a positive security culture
- Producing reports and analysis on security risks, incidents and control effectiveness
- Supporting compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for
- Experience in an Information Security, Cyber Security or Security Compliance role
- Good understanding of ISO 27001, NIST or similar security frameworks
- Experience conducting risk assessments and documenting findings
- Knowledge of incident response and security investigations
- Experience supporting audits, compliance or governance activities
- Understanding of third-party security risk management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure and security principles.

Nice to have
- Experience within financial services or a regulated environment
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS security controls
- Exposure to vulnerability management, SIEM or endpoint security tools
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements
- Security certifications such as Security+, ISO 27001, CISSP or CISM.
