Senior Information Security Analyst – AI, Innovation & Projects

Southampton – Hybrid (3DPW in office)
Competitive Salary

VIQU are partnering with a leading professional services organisation seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join their Information Security & Data Protection function. The role will have a particular focus on AI, innovation and transformational technology, ensuring security, privacy and governance requirements are embedded into new solutions from the outset. The Senior Information Security Analyst will work closely with Information Security, Data Protection, Technology and Innovation teams, providing security guidance across projects while helping shape the organisation’s approach to AI governance and responsible adoption.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Information Security Analyst:

  • Provide security advice across AI, innovation and technology projects
  • Review technical solutions and recommend appropriate security controls
  • Conduct AI, technology and information security risk assessments
  • Coordinate DPIAs, Transfer Risk Assessments and privacy reviews
  • Embed security and privacy requirements throughout project lifecycles
  • Monitor AI governance, regulation and security best practice
  • Develop policies and guidance around the responsible use of AI
  • Support ISO 27001 and the future adoption of ISO 42001
  • Assist with supplier and client security assurance activities
  • Support data classification, information governance and retention
  • Produce KRIs, security reporting and risk updates
  • Build relationships across Technology, Innovation and third-party suppliers

Experience Required of the Senior Information Security Analyst:

  • Strong Information Security experience within complex organisations
  • Experience providing security advice across technology projects
  • Knowledge of AI security, governance and emerging technology risks
  • Strong security risk assessment and risk management experience
  • Knowledge of data protection, DPIAs and privacy requirements
  • Good understanding of ISO 27001 and information security governance
  • Exposure to ISO 42001 would be highly advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Information Security or Data Protection certifications advantageous
