As our Senior Information Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-grade security solutions that meet complex business requirements. You will take an active lead in ensuring cloud security guardrails are in place, continuously monitored, and aligned with industry frameworks such as CIS and NIST. Your expertise, and initiative will help shape our security capability. Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.
What you’ll do
You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:
- Design, implement and maintain security controls and systems using risk-based methodology and standards such as ISO 27001, SOX and PCI-DSS
- Implement and maintain preventive controls SCPs (AWS), Azure Policy, resource locks, and network segmentation (VPCs, security groups, NSGs)
- Monitor cloud environments for misconfigurations, anomalous activity, and threats via CloudTrail, Azure Monitor, GuardDuty, Defender for Cloud, etc.
- Administer and mature the organisation's Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments
- Coordinate with network and infrastructure teams on firewall changes supporting new projects, system deployments, and architecture changes
- Maintain and mature DLP tooling Microsoft Purview, Netskope or equivalent
- Monitor, administer and mature Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) systems.
- Automating repeatable tasks and developing tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Serve as a subject matter expert during escalated security incidents, supporting the incident response team with investigation, containment, and remediation activities.
- Administer and monitor identity and access management systems
- Identify security gaps and maturity opportunities via self-assessments and control review

What you’ll bring
You’re someone who brings:
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas
- A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goals
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work
- Adaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast‑moving environments
- Deep technical knowledge of threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls.
- Hands-on experience implementing, tuning, and operating DLP, IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, and endpoint protection tools.
- Practical experience responding to real-world security incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
- Solid foundation in networking and infrastructure security.
- Proven ability to work directly with cloud-native security tooling across hybrid environments (Azure, GCP, M365).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Security Tools and modern security stacks.
- Relevant certifications (SSCP, CCSP, CEH, CySA+ or equivalent).

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some the following skills:
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
- Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
- Exposure to geographically distributed systems and teams.
