Lead IT Internal Auditor
International Technology & Telecommunications Business
Hybrid - London office 1 day per week
Salary to £68,000 + bonus + benefits
Astrum Search is partnering with a leading international technology and telecommunications business to appoint a Lead IT Internal Auditor into an established and highly regarded Internal Audit function.
This is a broad and varied role within a risk-based audit environment, covering technology, operational, financial and project-related audits. You will have genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a tangible impact across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead IT audit assignments from planning and fieldwork through to reporting and follow-up
- Assess risks, controls and root causes, clearly communicating findings and their business impact
- Develop practical, value-adding recommendations to strengthen controls and processes
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Contribute to the continued development of the IT Audit function, including data analytics and automation
- Support a varied audit plan spanning IT, operational, financial and project-based reviews

Skills & Experience:
- CISA qualified or working towards the qualification
- IT Internal or External Audit experience, ideally gained within an international organisation or leading professional services firm
- Strong understanding of technology risk, controls and audit
- IT SOX experience would be highly advantageous
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with the confidence to work independently
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
