Senior IT Manager – Folkestone (Hybrid) – £80,000 + Benefits – French Speaking
Our market-leading travel client now requires an experienced Senior IT Manager to play a key role in an ambitious digital transformation journey, acting as a strategic technology partner. As the Senior IT Manager, you will work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, proactively identify technology opportunities, and translate business needs into new products, projects, and capabilities.
The Senior IT Manager will own a significant technology portfolio and shape priorities, roadmaps, and investment decisions while ensuring technology initiatives deliver genuine business value. The right candidate will be comfortable managing software development teams and have experience delivering both bespoke software and off-the-shelf technology solutions.

The role combines strategic business engagement, technology solution design, project and product creation, software development leadership, and portfolio management.
Key Requirements:
- Fluent English and French – essential
- Strong IT leadership, technology business partnering, digital transformation, or programme management experience.
- Proven experience managing complex technology portfolios.
- Experience managing software development teams and bespoke application delivery.
- Experience across both bespoke development and COTS/off-the-shelf technology.
- Strong senior stakeholder and business partnering skills.
- Experience managing suppliers, systems integrators, budgets, and delivery partners.
- Technically credible, with the ability to engage effectively with development and architecture teams.
- Experience within B2C, travel, retail, airline, e-commerce, or another customer-focused environment is highly desirable.
- Comfortable operating within a complex matrix organization and leading through influence.
- Full driving license.

Location: Remote UK, with 1 day per week in Folkestone and 1 day per week in France. European travel expenses covered.
Salary: £80k + excellent benefits.
Please note: Business-level French is essential.
