We're with a globally recognised, high-growth consumer brand looking for an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of its UK technology function.

You’ll manage a team of four and act as the link between the UK business and the wider European and global IT teams.

The role

  • Lead and develop a team of 4 IT professionals
  • Own the relationship between IT and the UK business, translating business requirements into technology solutions
  • Manage IT services, projects, suppliers and the UK IT budget
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, service delivery and end-user support
  • Drive improvements across IT services, performance and user experience
  • Manage IT procurement and external technology partners
  • Ensure IT security, compliance and governance requirements are met
  • Work closely with European and global IT teams on wider initiatives

  • Experience in an IT Manager or similar IT leadership role
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills, including experience working with senior business leaders
  • Experience managing and developing IT teams
  • Strong practical ITIL and service management knowledge
  • Project management experience
  • Good understanding of Microsoft, Office 365, end-user computing, networking and security
  • Experience managing suppliers and external IT partners
  • A hands-on, structured and commercially minded approach
