Senior IT Project Manager – Infrastructure & Applications

London – Hybrid | 12-month contract | £600–£650 per day | Mid-September start

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of several concurrent technology projects within a large international organisation.

This is a hands-on senior delivery role spanning IT infrastructure and applications, working across multiple countries, technical teams, and third-party suppliers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects
  • Own project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Coordinate infrastructure activity across networks, firewalls, connectivity, environments, and associated technical dependencies
  • Manage application-related delivery and integration alongside infrastructure workstreams
  • Provide strong project governance, financial control, and stakeholder reporting
  • Coordinate internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors
  • Ensure delivery remains on track against agreed scope, budget, and timescales
  • Support technology migrations and legacy system decommissioning

Experience required:

  • Strong track record delivering complex IT infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within international environments
  • Broad technical understanding across both infrastructure and applications
  • Strong project governance, budget management, RAID, and senior stakeholder management
  • Experience coordinating technical teams and third-party suppliers
  • Comfortable taking ownership and driving delivery across multiple workstreams

Previous experience delivering HR, payroll, or enterprise application projects, including exposure to platforms such as SAP, Workday, or CloudPay, would be advantageous but is not essential.

Contract: 12 months
Rate: £600–£650 per day
Location: London / Hybrid
Start: Mid-September 2026

Due to project timescales, candidates must be available to start during September.
