Recruitment Consultant – Technology Recruitment - Manchester

A modern, high-performance technology recruitment business is looking to hire an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its growing team in Manchester.

Specialising exclusively within the UK technology market, the business operates a highly specialist model where each consultant owns and develops their own vertical. Current markets within the team include Software Engineering, Data, AI and Executive Search, with the business now looking to bring in another consultant to build out their own niche within the tech space.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious recruiter who wants genuine autonomy, exceptional earning potential and the freedom to operate like an adult without heavy KPIs, micromanagement or rigid working structures.

The Opportunity

The business has created a mature, flexible and performance-led culture where consultants are trusted to manage their time in a way that suits them best. There are no strict office mandates or rigid working patterns — some consultants choose to work in the office every day, while others come in once a week. Working hours are also entirely flexible, allowing individuals to structure their day around personal commitments, productivity and lifestyle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
