Shape the future of cyber security at Lumentum

At Lumentum, we develop the technologies that power the world's most advanced communications, industrial and cloud infrastructure. Security is fundamental to everything we do, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to help protect our people, data and global operations.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative cyber security team where you'll lead complex investigations, strengthen security controls and influence how we defend against an evolving threat landscape. You'll work across cloud, identity, endpoint, network and data security while partnering with technical and business teams to continuously improve our security capability.

If you enjoy solving challenging security problems, mentoring others and driving meaningful improvements, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

As a senior member of our Information Security team, you'll:

  • Lead the investigation and response to complex cyber security incidents across cloud, endpoint, identity, network, email and application environments.
  • Drive improvements to our Security Operations capability through enhanced detections, playbooks, automation and operational processes.
  • Own and enhance key security controls, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), ensuring they remain effective, measurable and aligned with business needs.
  • Assess vulnerabilities, prioritise remediation activities and work with technology teams to reduce cyber risk across the organisation.
  • Provide security assurance for new projects and technology changes, helping embed security by design.
  • Produce meaningful security metrics and reporting for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and raising security capability across the organisation.
  • Translate complex technical issues into clear, practical recommendations that support informed business decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
