IT Support Engineer
If you’re a Senior IT Support Engineer working in an MSP environment and fed up with being in an office 3 to 5 days a week, then this role might be for you.
This is a fully remote role with a well-established MSP based in Edinburgh. They have a remote-first approach for all staff, with the only travel requirement being client site visits when needed (a pool vehicle is available).
You’ll also have the autonomy to provide the best service possible to a range of clients, with the management team trusting you to do your job within agreed SLAs. It’s a flat structure, so there are no unnecessary levels of management getting in your way. The business really is set up to allow you to just get on with your job.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
