Senior IT Support Engineer – 3rd Line

Location: Curdworth, Birmingham (Onsite)
Contract: Two Months
Pay Rate: £265 Per Day Outside IR35

The Role

I am working with a Midlands based IT company who provide Managed IT Support, IT Projects and IT solutions for a wide range of clients all over the UK. They take a great deal of pride in their dedication to their clients, technical expertise and track record of providing outstanding services for their clients for over 30 years.

They are now looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join their team in Curdworth.

This is a senior, hands-on technical role for somebody experienced in owning & managing complex support issues, working directly with clients and helping to lead and develop our 2nd line support team.

You will act as a senior escalation point for the helpdesk, taking responsibility for more complex technical issues while providing guidance and support to other engineers. Alongside your own technical workload, we would like you to help drive good standards across the support team, assist with prioritising escalations and support the development of our 2nd line engineers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
