At CGI

At CGI, you’ll shape the infrastructure foundations that enable complex digital solutions to perform securely, reliably, and at scale. As a Senior Infrastructure Architect, you’ll take ownership of defining and assuring infrastructure across bids, deals, and projects, translating business needs into practical architectures that balance performance, cost, and risk. You’ll have the freedom to evaluate emerging technologies, challenge established thinking, and influence key technical decisions, while collaborating with solution architects, delivery teams, and clients. Supported by CGI’s wider community of experts, you’ll share your knowledge, develop others, and help turn innovative ideas into high-quality infrastructure solutions that create lasting value for our clients.

CGI was recognized in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner, not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent, and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the program, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position with the expectation of working 2/3 days a week in our London Office.

Candidate Profile

In this role, you will take ownership of defining, validating, and communicating infrastructure architectures across bids, deals, and projects. Acting as the link between Solution Architects, development teams, business stakeholders, and project management, you’ll translate requirements into logical infrastructure models, component specifications, and detailed designs that can be successfully implemented.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
