Senior Infrastructure Engineer | DV Cleared

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with active DV Clearance to support a major infrastructure transformation programme with a high-profile public sector organisation based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. Active DV Clearance is essential and candidates without current clearance cannot be considered.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and migration of critical infrastructure services, delivering a modern, resilient Microsoft-based platform across multiple sites.

You will play a key role in:

  • Designing and deploying a highly available two-site Microsoft Hyper-V cluster
  • Migrating approximately 40 physical and virtual servers from existing VMware and Hyper-V environments
  • Upgrading, patching, and hardening systems in line with security and governance standards
  • Building new infrastructure to support enterprise monitoring and vulnerability management platforms
  • Designing and implementing a Microsoft PKI/Certificate Authority solution
  • Supporting penetration testing, vulnerability remediation, and security improvements
  • Producing technical documentation and delivering knowledge transfer to internal ICT teams

Key Skills & Experience

  • Extensive Microsoft Infrastructure experience
  • Strong Hyper-V clustering and virtualisation expertise
  • Windows Server administration, deployment, and migration
