This is an exciting opportunity to join our Strategic Digital Solutions team as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer.
You will work within a BAU support team, providing advanced technical expertise across endpoint management, device lifecycle management, automation, and security. Acting as a senior escalation point, you'll bridge operational support teams with infrastructure and engineering functions, helping to resolve complex incidents while driving service improvements and maintaining high standards of customer service.
The role can be based anywhere in the UK; however, you must be able to travel to Hemel Hempstead when required. Travel requirements will vary depending on project and operational demands, ranging from 1 to 2 visits per month during quieter periods up to 4 days per week during particularly busy or sensitive projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Resolving complex 3rd and 4th line incidents involving operating systems, endpoint hardware, and persistent software issues.
- Managing and maintaining endpoint management platforms including Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Group Policy.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Creating and maintaining automated software deployments, operating system upgrades, and device imaging solutions using PowerShell and packaging tools.
- Monitoring endpoint security, device compliance, vulnerability remediation, and encryption standards.
- Conducting root cause analysis for recurring incidents and producing technical documentation and knowledge articles for support teams.

What you'll bring:
- In-depth experience administering Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM, including endpoint management, application deployment, patching, and the creation, maintenance and optimisation of device policies and configurations.
- Strong knowledge of Mobile Device Management, Windows 10/11, Active Directory and Entra ID within enterprise environments.
- Experience packaging and deploying applications through endpoint management platforms to support software delivery and lifecycle management.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills to automate tasks, improve operational efficiency and support deployment activities.
- Experience managing Windows, Microsoft Defender and third-party patching solutions, ensuring endpoint security, compliance and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience using enterprise service management tools such as ServiceNow and working within ITIL-based Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
