About the Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Liverpool, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving IT systems within the life science industry. Your expertise will ensure the smooth running of critical infrastructure, supporting the organisation's technological needs effectively.

Description
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and oversee system upgrades, patches, and security measures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery systems are in place and functional.
- Stay updated with advancements in technology relevant to the life science industry.

Profile
What we are looking for
- Strong experience in a senior infrastructure, cloud or technical lead role.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune.
- Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware experience.
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security.
- Experience leading infrastructure or cloud projects.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Job Offer
- Permanent position based in Liverpool.
- 5 days onsite in the office.
- Salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
