Senior Infrastructure Engineer
BAE Systems | Warton
12-Month Contract
Full Time on-site
£35 PAYE or £47.12 Umbrella
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Please note that this role will only accept UK nationals only due to the security requirements of the programme.
BAE Systems are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Warton on a 12-month contract.
Working within the Synthetic Training & Engineering Products team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting Infrastructure as Code solutions, automating infrastructure deployments, and ensuring systems remain secure, scalable, and reliable.

Key Requirements
- 5+ years' infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong Infrastructure as Code and automation experience (ideally Ansible)
- Good understanding of infrastructure security and best practices
- Experience with Windows, Linux, networking, virtualization, or firewall technologies
- Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience

Desirable
- Defence or aerospace industry experience
- Experience with VMware, Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, or Red Hat technologies
- Relevant technical certifications
