About the role
Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud & Network) | London (Hybrid)
We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help shape and support a modern, cloud-first technology environment.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys working across cloud, networking and hybrid environments.
You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our technology estate, providing 3rd line expertise, supporting major infrastructure initiatives and helping drive the transition towards a more modern and globally aligned technology platform.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as a senior technical escalation point for infrastructure, cloud and network issues
- Supporting and improving Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure services
- Managing and maintaining enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs and connectivity services
- Delivering infrastructure changes, upgrades and service improvements
- Helping reduce legacy technology dependencies and supporting cloud migration initiatives
- Automating deployments and configuration through scripting and tooling
- Working closely with Service Desk, security specialists, technology teams and external suppliers
- Producing clear documentation, operational procedures and technical standards
- Supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring colleagues across the wider technology team

What we're looking for
- Strong experience in infrastructure engineering within enterprise environments
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune and identity platforms
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Strong networking expertise, including firewalls, routing, switching and VPN technologies
- Experience with automation, scripting and infrastructure-as-code approaches
- Understanding of IT service management processes, including incident, change and problem management
- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and vendor management skills
- A structured, pragmatic approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
