Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Multiyear VMware & Windows Migration
£400–£500 per day | Outside IR35
6-month contract
Hybrid – Greater Manchester
Join a rapidly growing MedTech organisation undertaking a major tenant-to-tenant migration as part of its continued global expansion and acquisition strategy. Significant investment is being made into its infrastructure estate, creating a long-term programme of work for experienced infrastructure contractors.
This is a hands-on VMware and Microsoft infrastructure role covering Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365, supporting a complex global enterprise environment across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Engineer and support VMware, Azure and Microsoft enterprise infrastructure.
- Support the delivery of the major tenant-to-tenant migration.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.

Requirements
- Strong senior-level experience across VMware and Microsoft infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
- Nutanix and/or Rubrik experience would be beneficial.
Contract Details
- Day rate: £400–£500 per day
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months initially, with strong extension potential
- Working model: Hybrid – Greater Manchester
