Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Consultant

Client & Environment

Our client in Exeter is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Consultant to support several infrastructure, endpoint and security projects.

They need a hands-on senior engineer who can quickly understand the existing environment, take ownership of projects and work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Strong Senior Infrastructure / 3rd Line engineering experience
  • Strong Microsoft Intune experience
  • Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
  • Conditional Access
  • VMware / vSphere / ESXi
  • Citrix
  • Windows Server
  • Networking, VPNs and firewalls
  • Strong infrastructure and endpoint security knowledge
  • Ability to independently deliver technical projects

  • Sophos firewall / VPN experience
  • Aruba EdgeConnect SSE
  • ZTNA / SASE / SSE experience
  • Microsoft Defender

Conditions

  • Outside IR35
  • Hybrid – Exeter (2-3 days / week)
  • Initial contract: 6 months minimum
  • Full-time
  • Start: ASAP
