Senior Infrastructure Engineer
George Town, Cayman Islands
An established and highly regarded technology services provider in the Cayman Islands is seeking a seasoned professional to join its growing team, supporting many of the Cayman Islands’ leading organizations.
This is a broad, hands-on role spanning Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise on-premises infrastructure, and virtualization technologies including HPE Morpheus VM Essentials (VME), VMware, and Nutanix. The role combines cloud and physical server infrastructure with solution design and pre-sales, project management and implementation, escalated support, and technical consulting for a diverse client base.
Based in George Town, you’ll work onsite and at client locations alongside a skilled international team from the Cayman Islands, the UK, Canada, and elsewhere, in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a seasoned infrastructure professional with the breadth of experience and sound technical judgement to provide trusted technical guidance, mentor less experienced engineers, and confidently support a broad range of client environments.

- Proven experience delivering enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions within an MSP or IT consulting environment.
- Extensive experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise on-premises infrastructure, and virtualization technologies. This opportunity is particularly well suited to candidates who have developed broad infrastructure expertise over time, combining experience with legacy server infrastructure and modern cloud platforms.
- Broad technical experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and delivering practical, client-focused solutions across diverse client environments.
- Experience managing the full client project lifecycle, from technical discovery through implementation and delivery.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
- Microsoft certifications are expected for this role, ideally including Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- HPE ATP (or equivalent enterprise infrastructure certification) would be highly valued, with support available for candidates working toward certification.
- Experience with Nutanix, or an interest in developing expertise in the platform, would be considered an asset.
- Additional advanced professional certifications would be considered an asset.
